Kali Audio speakers undergo 100 hours of power testing during the prototype phase. These tests push the speakers to their performance limits, allowing us to model speaker behavior over long periods of extreme use. We measure the speakers before and after this test, and gather data on thermal performance for the duration of the test. This testing has revealed no discernible difference between the frequency response before and after the test. As such, we do not believe that a burn in period will be necessary for these speakers.
